He rolled through our radio station several times and more often than not, could pass you in the hallway and you would have no idea the impact this guy has already had on the sound of the songs you hear over and over on the radio.  Working with everyone from Rihanna to Michael Jackson in his final days, Ne-Yo still has his anonymity and a successful career as well.

Ne-Yo's album visit correlated with the release of his cd Perfect Gentleman.   He was just that.  A goold 'ol southern boy who grew up in a house of all women which is what he attributes his fine writing skills to.

"Living in a home with all women helped me to write from their perspective.  I had aunties and cousins complaining about how they were treated by men and I just kinda kept track.  It taught me alot."  Ne-Yo is a very well spoken artist and doesn't mind the fact you may not recognize him.  He is a self professed studio rat and works with acts all over the charts.  This singer song writer took questions from our studio audience and was just chill to be around.  He encouraged musicians in the room to follow their dreams and not to give up no matter what.  I really dug that!
