Yes, I met Justin Timberlake.  It was actually the second time I met him.  The first was in 1998 as part of NSYNC.  This time was a different experience. 

I was led to his dressing room before the Justified / Stripped tour, when he was on tour with Christina Aguilera.  I was running through my head what I was going to ask him and was told as with many interviews, don't talk with him about his personal life.  Which honestly, all my audience cared to hear anyway.  But I was never one of those radio dj's who would try to make a name for myself by embaressing an artist or making them feel uncomfortable.  Instead I stuck to a strict regime of music questions.  I focused on the positive influences.

When I walked in, his manager called out for Justin and he quickly responded, greeted me at the door and offered me a drink and a seat.  He was a gentleman.  Hard to believe a guy who could have any woman he wanted and had a plethora of resources at his disposal, that he would genuinely come off as a good guy.  But he was.

As far as the interview was concerned, he was intelligent and gave me great sound bites to use.  Probably my favorite part of meeting Justin this time, was after we completed the interview.  He asked if I had tickets to the show and was genuinely interested in my show and began to interview me.  Even asked how his music was doing for the station. 

Justin came off as a guy you would hang out with after a basketball game, even if he is pretty enough to steal your date.
