At the Interbike bike convention in Las Vegas circa 96 Could be off by a year but it was pre-cancer. I ran into Lance Armstrong walking with George Hincape. I started a conversation with Lance giving kudos for his 93 Worlds victory.
No Joke I'm in mid-sentence and he simply turns and walks away. Even took George by suprise.

I too hope he was just having a bad day but this story certainly does not help his image as an approachable, nice guy.
Got to give him serious props though for being an inspiration to many in fighting cancer.
