So Im on my usual ride to work where I do the midday radio shift (10a-2p) and Im listening to the morning show and to my surprise there is John Legend live in studio.  As I listen I notice that the radio personality is not really asking John that many questions and also cut the interview short.  This I thought was strange because usually when an artist of John Legend's calliber decides to come IN the studio you as a radio personality try to squeeze in as much time as possible and John had already made it known that he made a special trip up to the station just to see our morning show personality.  So anyway I text the record label person that is with John to ask him to stay so that I may ask some questions for my show.  Well the label person informs me that John is confused and angry with the way the earlier interview went and left immediately.  So I plead to the label rep to at least let me get John on the phone and do an interview and I would gurantee to do the interivew he deserved.  Well I got my big chance.  We spoke about everything.   From him being a Business major at UPenn to his charity and of course the music.  By the time I finished I had John saying to me, "wow youre really into the music....  not too many radio people know the things you do."  I told him that that's because before everything else, I am a fan of good music and I appreciate him for giving it to the world.   Just another day in Laiyasworld....
