Just like his music, John legend is smooth. He kind of gives off that " too cool for school vibe." Just smooth. The cool thing about John Legend is that his talent is phenomenal. He sounds identical in real life as he does on his CD. I know this because I was lucky enough to be serenaded by him when he stopped by our studio to do an interview. It was like 8am, he came straight from the airport but he still looked incredibly put together. Getting him to sing was quite the task, but with enough persuading he eventually belted out "Ordinary People." It was flawless. His voice is incredibly deep and he is quite good looking, but his demeanor can seem a little standoffish, not because he's a jerk but because he really is just a smooth dude. We got to spend some time with him so it was evident her was a nice guy, but I bet others would be very intimated by him. He's one of those people that demands attention even without meaning to. That happens to be a quality that i admire but it also freaks me out a little bit.
