I worked at Windell’s snowboard camp back in the day as a
Japanese/English Translator. When Shawn White was 12 years old he would train
at Windell’s. His mom wanted him to learn Rodeo Flips from Rio Tahara who had
the sickest Rodeos in the pipe at the time. So I translated Rio’s
instructions for Shawn and in about three tries he had Rodeo down. And now
Shawn is doing back to back to back Double Corks. Insane.
