Let me start off by saying this - Colbie Caillat is an absolute sweetheart.  Maybe it was the overnight success.  Maybe she was jet lagged.  Maybe she was not being used to the quick pace of us New Yorkers. Or maybe she's just a space cadet.  Either way, girlfriend was not with it the day I met her.

Colbie came into the studio with one other person.  I asked if she wanted water or anything, "Hmm. Uhhh...uhm, no.  No, I'm good."  We started setting the levels for her in-studio performance of "Bubbly".  In the meantime, I asked her a few questions about Malibu, growing up on the beach, etc.  All responses were one worded, all began with a long pause, and all started with "Uhhhhhh".  Alright, let's get this interview started.

Colbie seemed totally normal on air, which makes me wonder what exactly was going through her head when I spoke with her.  Was it my amazing looks?  Probably not, but get yourself together!
