I was walking with my friends along the Thames in London while living in the area. Near Tower Bridge we happened to see a small crowd following a group of guys. As we passed them we noticed that one was carrying a large silver trophy. We said to ourselves, "that's the Stanley cup.....THAT'S THE STANLEY CUP!!!!" After racing back with our cameras one of their entourage asked us where we were from.  Upon learning that we were from the states they then understood how we were able to recognize what the Stanley Cup was. It was definitely a day to remember.
