Too often on this website we judge people.  We judge them based on the one and only time we have encountered this stranger.  But they aren't strangers, not to us.  It is because we've enjoyed their music or seen them on television, to us they are someone of importance.  We consider them famous or carry a celebrity status.  So the next time we encounter their work, we feel like we have a connection with that person. For good or bad based on our experience, we judge them.  In this case I judged before I had even met this celebrity...that is Mark McGrath of Sugar Ray.

I saw him in a casino during the 2004 Radio Music Awards and watched him skip our interview table the day before.  I had already formed my opinion and with the help of a few jack & cokes...let him know what I thought as he strolled by our blackjack table.  Yes, I called Mark McGrath a D-Bag!

Call it a vibe, but some people you simply don't think highly of, and to me, Mark McGrath was that person. 

He didn't hear me...or maybe he did and simply didn't respond.  It's a story that makes for a good laugh if a Sugar Ray song ever comes on.  Thankfully, those are very rare occasions.
