We were a very small company in Atlanta, Georgia and we were given an exclusive interview with Ms. Winfrey through the efforts of a young lady who worked very hard to get the interview(I cannot remember her name). Once we got the interview (NABJ) and went to edit it, the sound was not there for the questions that were asked. I was very new and I was in a horrific state of mind when I heard the interview. The young lady who did the interview is the same one who got the interview and she said she could fix it. I did not believe it could be fixed, and all I could think of was we had ruined Ms. Winfrey's interview and the embarrassment would be overwhelming. I closed down the business and never did anything in television again and filed the tape in a box somewhere. I owe her and the young lady an apology for not trusting God more. I am glad to make 67 years, live through breast cancer, and say I am so sorry.
