I travel from Florida to LA a few  times a year to see my daughter who's a USC student. In the four years we've been visiting I see celebrities most of the time, but my daughter won't ever let me look too hard or heaven forbid, try to take a picture. One time we were in a restaurant called Cecini and as we were leaving we were standing right next to an  outside table with Simon Cowell and Ryan Seacrest. I really wanted to take a picture for my Mother-in-law -a huge fan. So I posed my husband, with the table in the background , and the host hurried over, telling me something like "we don't do that here". So that was enough of a lesson for me. This weekend we were eating at Rivera and Halle Berrie was seated directly behind us. I was cool though, not even mentioning it to my husband, a fact he was NOT happy about later. The next day, lunch at the Ivy, (one of the best places to see celebrities) and we waited patiently for an outside table. At the doorway I thought I spotted John Stamos, but in an instant, he was gone. I told my daughter who is quite obsessed with him, but she didn't believe me. Minutes later, Bob Saget came out. He posed very quickly with one fan, but jumped in a waiting car. I knew then that that had to have been the subject of my daughter's fantasies I had seen, and sure enough about 30 minutes later, John Stamos walked out!  He stopped at several tables and was extremely nice, posing for a few photos. Then he was standing right behind me, waiting for his car. So I turned around and told him how much I love him in his new Glee role, and how great he was in the Rocky Horror episode. He came back around to talk to me, and told us all about his experience working on the show (he loves it, loves the other actors). So even though she was initially embarrased, I convinced my daughter to pose with him, she's really glad to have this picture. I'm sure as we speak, it's being posted as her new profile pic!
