There was a 3-day music conference held in Los Angeles. It was mostly an excuse for radio people and record label reps to hang out and drink. And lots of artists used this opportunity to talk face to face with programmers.

And there were parties everywhere, every night. Again, just an excuse to get drunk with industry people.

One of these parties was at a local bar/lounge/restaurant, the name of which I totally don't remember. There were quite a few label reps and radio cats hanging out. As I was at the bar, I turned my head...and then looked down...and saw Emmanuel Lewis chillin' in a booth.

"Woah," I thought to myself, "that's freakin' Webster!" How was I NOT gonna go up to him and introduce myself?

So, I walked over, told him I was a fan and he flashed a smile and started talking to me about his new projects he had lined up. He was excited to let me know about his new hip hop label and artists he signed. Very cool little dude.

And he could drink like a champ, too.
