Let me start this off by stating, I hate when artists bring other artists on their "label" to promote their stuff before it's even finished.  That's what got me in some trouble here.

In the photo you'll see Sean Kingston with myself and an artist known as Iyaz.  If you're not familiar with who Iyaz is, I wasn't either.  Until his song became a massive hit on the radio.   It's called "Replay."

I was interviewing Sean Kingston and he improptu throws a mic in front of Iyaz's face, and this was before his song was all over the radio and I had no idea who he was.  I actually just thought he was part of Sean Kingston's entourage.  So naturally I tried to direct the interview back towards Sean and didn't think anything of it.

Fast forward to a few months later when Iyaz is all over the chart and he comes back to do an interview with me.  The first thing I do is apologize for not giving him the time of day and he said he understood and it was "all good" but boy did I feel dumb.  He was actually gracias about the whole thing and now Iyaz follows me on twitter.
