Look for country music star Wynonna Judd around Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee, because she’s floating around those parts as we speak. Pictured here with my wife and me, Wynonna is one of the sweetest, easy to talk to celebs in the entertainment business. And she’s bound to get up close and personal with many of her fans as she revisits her Appalachian childhood in an official capacity next month when she joins CSX, Food City and the Kingsport Area Chamber of Commerce as the “special guest” for the 2009 Santa Train.

Hailing from Ashland, Kentucky, Wynonna is busy celebrating the release of her new album, Sing: Chapter 1, as well as the anniversary of her 25th year in the music business. Consequently, Wynonna will launch her third annual ‘A Classic Christmas’ tour beginning as early as next month. 

The Santa Train will make fourteen official stops in the mountains of Kentucky, Virginia and Tennessee during that period. So if you haven’t run into her yet, keep your eyes open for Wynonna.

But don’t worry. She’s not hard to spot. Her unmistakable, gorgeous crop of red hair stands out wherever she goes. Take it from me, if she’s around, you’ll know it!
