Have you ever loved or been a die hard fan (Boarderline Groupie) of a singer/rapper or celebrity? Ok, how about if someone told you they were coming to your job in about 10 min? And of course this is the one day your looking more busted than ever!!! Ok I'm a Radio Personality and this particular day I had been volunteering at a Children's Summer camp for there Olympics day. It was about 85 degress that day and lets just say I had no time what so ever to leave from there and go home to freshen up before going to the studio. Besides, I hadn't received any emails or text saying that we had an in studio guest that evening so I thought I was GOLDEN! That was until I walked into my Music Director's office and he told me that Rapper Young Jeezy would be coming to the studio in about um....... 10 MIN!!!

OH HELL NO!!! Meanwhile i'm trying to figure out how to get out of these sweatpants and tank top and into something a lil more Jeezy worthy! Bingo!!! The day before I went shopping and bought a couple of sundresses that were on sale while out with the girls and they were still in the car! And thank God for that. I kicked it into high gear and ran back to the studio to grab my intern and have her go to the garage and grab the dresses. On the way back upstairs my intern calls me while waiting on the elevator to inform me that while she was waiting on the elevator Jeezy and his entourage had arrived and where waiting with her!!!!! Oh no!! How can I get the dress without them seeing me. I alerted my On-Air partner to take over and ran to the little girls room. My intern ran into the bathroom handed off the dresses to me. Just when I thought all  was good I looked at my feet. I forgot I was wearing a pair of Nike Dunks and Dunks don't match sundresses!!! HELLO! Damn what to do??? F*** it!! I decided to go it shoeless and play the bohemian look. And guess what.... it worked! The Record Rep was a very hip fashionista who immediately complimented me on my look and totally understood what look I was going for. Whew!!! Now that was indeed a close one!
