Big Baby Drops His Shorts In Protest
By Bruce Tenen - Fri, 2012-01-20 21:53
Glen Davis' season began with a trade from Boston to Orlando, where he is currently averaging eight points and five rebounds per game, coming off the bench for the Magic.
Davis had a very bad moment Wednesday night, while displaying a very unique form of protest, in an overtime loss to San Antonio.
"Big Baby" was called for a foul in the third quarter of the game. When protesting the decision, Davis elected to pull down his own shorts. Fortunately for the crowd and a national TV audience, all that was visible was his black spandex underwear.
The Spurs made the technical foul shot, which turned out to be a crucial point.
Perhaps, the 290-pound power forward should now be referred to as the "Big Mooner."
