Brianna Amat was crowned homecoming queen for Pinckney Community High School (MI) last Friday night, but her evening was far from over. Amat would then go on to kick a 31-yard field goal in the third quarter of her school’s homecoming game, giving Pinckney a 9-7 upset win over Grand Blanc. Grand Blanc had been rated number seven in the state.  A women's soccer star, the game-winning field goal was the longest of her career. 

Amat was in the locker room at halftime when she received a note to come out to the field.  To her great surprise, she was crowned as the highlight of the homecoming ceremony.
