By Bruce Tenen - Sun, 2011-06-12 14:00
Wrestling legend Kurt Angle was in London last week to promote an upcoming grappling tour of the United Kingdom. While there, he announced his plans to attempt to make the US team and compete in the 2012 Olympic Games. The former WWE superstar and current TNA performer won a gold medal in freestyle wrestling at the 1996 Atlanta Games and now hopes to reclaim his spot on the podium at the age of 43, sixteen years after his first medal.
Angle said he has been training for two months and has nine more to train before the US Olympic Trials.
No eye gouging or trunks pulling please.
