Lingerie Football League To Start A Youth Division
By Bruce Tenen - Sun, 2011-10-23 14:00
We told you earlier about Amanda Rypien, daughter of Mark, of the Lingerie Football League’s Seattle Mist. Now, the LFL is making noise again.
It was announced that the league plans to organize a division for teenage girls, who would play fully clothed.
League founder and chairman Mitchell S. Mortaza was quoted on the LFL website as saying, "Obviously the improvement of our game is directly tied into the development of our future LFL players. What excites us at the league is seeing the caliber of athletes improve so vastly each season."
Mist player Jessica Hopkins took a different approach, saying that someday girls won't have to wear lingerie to get people interested in women's football.
