Boston not only won the Stanley Cup Wednesday night, but also attracted the largest television ratings for a NHL hockey game since the Bruins-Philadelphia final in 1974.  The seven-game series averaged almost five million viewers on NBC and Versus.

Interestingly, in the Boston market, the Bruins garnered higher ratings than the Celtics during the C's last two NBA playoff series.
