In case you missed it, last Monday night’s college hoops schedule produced a sure nominee for basketball’s top play of the year.

Oral Roberts and Arkansas-Little Rock were tied at 55 in the closing seconds, when Little Rock heaved the ball into the frontcourt, hoping to set up a potential game-winning shot attempt. Unfortunately for the Trojans, Oral Roberts’ Damen Bell-Holter intercepted the pass and launched the ball from near his own free throw line, connecting on the long range throw and giving the Golden Eagles an unlikely 58-55 victory.
