Probation Bowl On Tap In South FLA?
By Bruce Tenen - Fri, 2011-09-02 14:00
College football fans are excited and looking forward to the intersectional clash between two schools sitting squarely in the NCAA dog house. On September 17, the Ohio State Buckeyes and Miami Hurricanes will battle in South Florida.
Currently, the two national powers are waiting for the NCAA to announce which penalties and sanctions will result from the institutions' reported improprieties.
Brad Dickson of the Omaha World Herald had his own take on the game.
"The stadium will be packed with 80,000 people - 20,000 fans and 60,000 NCAA investigators," wrote Dickson.
We have an idea: Maybe they could get Jim Tressel and Nevin Shapiro to make a joint pregame coin toss.
