Sunday, the New York Knicks defeated the Miami Heat 89-87, in Game 4 of their first round playoff series. The Knicks had lost 13 straight postseason games before edging the Heat, an NBA record for futility. The last playoff victory by the Knicks took place way back in 2001, when they advanced past the Toronto Raptors.
