For many years, Real Madrid was the king of Europe. Recently, other clubs such as arch rival Barcelona and Manchester United are ruling the roost. So, to restock their roster, Real Madrid has been scouring Europe and South America for future stars. 

Monday, they signed a young play-maker from Argentina named Leonel Angel Coira, who happens to be 7-years-old. The “youngster” will join the club youth system on September 5. 

Real Madrid outbid crosstown rival Atletico Madrid for Coira's services.    

Coira's idol is Barcelona superstar Leo Messi, who was signed as a teenager out of Argentina and went on to become World Player of the Year.
