A Very Long Distance Soccer Goal In Japan (Video)
By Bruce Tenen - Mon, 2011-11-07 14:00
Goals in soccer are often headed into the net and those plays are of course called headers. Here is a header for the ages.
In a J League match in Japan, Okayama scored against Yokohama on an incredible long distance goal, ending with a header last weekend.
Defender Ryujiro Ueda headed the ball, which bounced three times and somehow eluded goalkeeper Kentro Seki. The ball was initially launched towards the net from 63 yards out.
Check out the wild video of the world record score.
