The season ticket drive for the new NHL franchise in Winnipeg lasted all of 17 minutes. After all 13,000 season tickets were sold Saturday morning, many fans went online in search of any available tickets. Manitoba Moose (Winnipeg’s AHL team) season ticket holders bought more than 2,000 in a pre-sale in which they were allowed to buy early, if they wished to see the team which is relocating from Atlanta. Winnipeg's new arena seats only 15,000 spectators, the smallest venue in the NHL.
