Bonds Sentenced To 30 Days Of Confinement At 11,448 Square Foot Home (Photos)

Barry Bonds 11,448 square foot homeFriday, Barry Bonds was sentenced to two years probation, 250 hours of community service, a $4,100 fine and 30 days house arrest for obstructing justice in the federal government’s case against alleged steroid use in sports. Prosecutors had asked U.S. District Judge Susan Illston to sentence baseball’s all-time homerun leader to 15 months in prison, but the San Francisco based judge went the route of leniency when considering Bonds’ plight. Bonds now has 14 days to file an appeal with the court.

If the terms of the sentence are upheld, Bonds will be forced to serve 30 days of hard labor at his 11,448 square foot mansion in the Beverly Park gated neighborhood of Los Angeles.

Located in a picturesque canyon, immediately adjacent to Beverly Hills, this Leavenworth like setting is also home to a dangerous group of “cellmates” including Magic Johnson, Sylvester Stallone, Sumner Redstone, Paul Reiser, Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

Bonds’ punishment will involve 30 consecutive days of access to 2.5 sprawling acres of land, six bedrooms, 10 bathrooms, a swimming pool, pool house and basketball court.

Here is an aerial photo of the property that could very easily be confused with Alcatraz.

This photo showcases the lack of privacy prisoner Bonds will have to deal with, for a solid month, due to the close proximity of his undoubtedly “sketchy” neighbors.

We at ifollosports.com wish Barry Bonds all the best during the 30 days of misery that awaits him.
