Derrick Rose respected in CHI & throughout the league

Chicago Bulls’ guard Derrick Rose is one of the NBA’s rising superstars.  Rose, the first overall pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, has absolutely lived up to his advance billing.

The Chicago native averaged 21 points and 6 assists, during his second NBA campaign.  Rose has also displayed signs of future playoff success by averaging 22 points, 7 assists and 5 rebounds, during his first two postseason appearances.

Rose and the Bulls will be a force to reckon with for many years to come.

The team’s ultimate success could rival the Michael Jordan era, if the Bulls are able to land LeBron James, Dwyane Wade or some other combination of this summer’s legendary free agent class.

While the Cavaliers and Heat worry about their ability to retain these all-world superstars, the Bulls are content in knowing that Rose is almost certainly going to stay home for many years to come.

Rose’s comfort level in Chicago and notoriety on the road appears to be growing by the day.  Below are two pieces of video expressing this situation.

The first scene took place at Martin Nissan in Skokie, Illinois, during an autograph signing.

The second setting is outside of the Bulls’ hotel in Orlando.
