Durant, Westbrook & Thunder Mates Outside LA Hotel (Videos)

Thunder  Beverly Wilshire Hotel Casa Del Mar HotelWednesday night, the Oklahoma City Thunder went down to the Los Angeles Clippers 111-103.

During the vast majority of visits to LA, the OKC franchise bases itself out of the Hotel Casa Del Mar, in the beachside city of Santa Monica. By contrast, this trip, the Thunder elected to set up shop eight miles further inland, at the posh Beverly Wilshire Hotel, which sits at the intersection of Wilshire Blvd. and Rodeo Dr. in Beverly Hills.

Wednesday afternoon, was on hand covering the scene, as Kevin Durant and company boarded their charter buses for the eight-mile trek east to Staples Center. Below is a look at what took place.

As has reported numerous times, KD almost always signs ample autographs.This video shows the three-time scoring champion telling his legions of followers that, on this day, he simply did not have the time.

Jon Rapoport has spent his career working on all sides of the media and sports industry. He began his career at ESPN in studio production at the ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut.
