Ginobili, Popovich, Parker, Duncan & The Spurs Outside LA Hotel (Videos)

Manu Ginobili autograph, Gregg Popovich autographLast Friday night, the defending Western Conference champion San Antonio Spurs defeated the undermanned Los Angeles Lakers, 91-85 at Staples Center in downtown LA.

During the majority of the four-time NBA champion’s visits to Southern California, the team elects to stay in the beachfront city of Santa Monica. This trip was no different, with the squad from South Texas basing themselves out of the stately Hotel Casa Del Mar.

In the hours leading up to tipoff, was on hand, chronicling the scene, as the organization boarded their buses for the 14- mile trip down Interstate 10.  Below is a look at the original pieces of video.

Jon Rapoport has spent his career working on all sides of the media and sports industry. He began his career at ESPN in studio production at the ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Connecticut. While there, he won an Emmy for his contribution to "SportsCenter." Following his tenure at ESPN, Jon relocated to Los Angeles, joining the staff of the “Best Damn Sports Show” on FOX Sports Net.

Born and raised in Plymouth, Minnesota (just outside of Minneapolis), Jon is an avid sports fan, particularly for his beloved Minnesota teams.
