Torii Hunter Has Some Strong Feelings For Angels Owner Arte Moreno

Torii Hunter Loves Arte MorenoThursday, Los Angeles Angels outfielder Torii Hunter appeared on the MLB Network program “Hot Stove,” which was airing live from baseball’s winter meetings at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas. Not surprisingly, Hunter was asked his opinion regarding the Angels’ audacious acquisitions of superstar first baseman Albert Pujols and high quality starting pitcher CJ Wilson.

In a far from shocking development, Hunter could not have been more pleased with the day’s news.

The nine-time Gold Glove winner first expressed his personal glee, as it relates to Angels players and their fans.

“I’m so excited right now, I can’t sleep, I can’t blink, I can’t do anything. I freaking love this, this is awesome. This is a great day to be an Angels player and an Angels fan.”

The four-time All-Star went on to illustrate his unabashed fondness for his boss, Angels owner Arte Moreno.

“Arte, you are awesome. I will never leave you. Right now, I’m telling you now, I’m staying with you, this is a marriage, match made in heaven, me and you buddy. Arte Moreno, I love you man for trying to make this happen. You the man baby!”

Whatever happens on the field next season, Hunter, Moreno, Pujols, Wilson and the rest of the jubilant Angels will be anything but boring, as they have triumphantly emerged as one of baseball’s most high profile franchises.
