Thursday night, the Tigers and Yankees square off at Yankee Stadium in the first winner-take-all of the 2011 postseason. An ALDS deciding game is nothing new for the Yankees. Since the division series started in 1995, this will be New York’s sixth Game 5 scenario (1995, 1997, 2000, 2001 & 2005). The Bombers have a record of 2-3 in these games.

Thursday night will be the Tigers first-ever Game 5 in division series play.
