Kobe Vs. LeBron Renews An Age Old Debate
By Ryan Rapoport - Thu, 2012-01-19 17:32
Thursday night’s marquee NBA matchup involves the Miami Heat hosting the Los Angeles Lakers at AmericanAirlines Arena. Of course, anytime these two teams play, it becomes all about Kobe Bryant vs. LeBron James.
A lot of people debate who the better of the two is, but when considering Kobe's five championships, as compared to LeBron’s zero, Kobe usually wins that debate.
Lately, LeBron owns the regular season edge against Kobe, as he has won their last four meetings (two with the Cavs and two with the Heat).
The Lakers, now coached by former Cavs head man Mike Brown, are catching Miami at a good time. With Dwyane Wade already sidelined due to a right ankle sprain, LeBron is listed as a game-time decision, because of the flu.
