Clayton Kershaw's Impressive Real Estate Purchase (Photos)

Clayton Kershaw Studio City homeLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has added some rather impressive possessions to his portfolio of late. In addition to corralling both the National League Cy Young and MVP awards, the 26-year-old is now the proud owner of a new piece of high end real estate.

Kershaw recently purchased a $4 million mansion in the Studio City area of Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley. Located 11 miles north of Dodger Stadium, the 6,000-square-foot home comes equipped with 6 bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms, a wine cellar, home theater, pool, spa and sport court.

For those keeping score, the 3-time Cy Young Award winner also owns property in his native Dallas, as well as in Frenandina Beach, Florida.

Not surprisingly, a 7-year/$215 million contract allows for a whole lot of purchase power.
