Cubs and Warriors Chose Different Cleveland Championship Round Hotels
During Games 1 and 2 of the 2016 World Series, the Chicago Cubs have elected to stay at the Renaissance Cleveland Hotel (located in downtown Cleveland), 0.6 miles northwest of Progressive Field. The Renaissance is attached to Terminal Tower, Cleveland’s most famous and recognizable building.
Looking back to the last two NBA Finals, the visiting Warriors called The Ritz-Carlton, Cleveland home. That luxury property is located two blocks south of the Renaissance, 0.3 miles west of Quicken Loans Arena.
With the Cleveland sports scene in the midst of an incredible run of achievement, it is the city’s upper echelon hotels that are among the area’s greatest financial winners, as a result of the Indians and Cavs success.
