Further Proof of Barry Zito's New Outlook (Video)

As San Francisco Giants pitcher Barry Zito makes yet another attempt to resurrect his once outstanding career, Tuesday vs. the Chicago Cubs, discussion around the team has focused on Zito's new outlook on baseball since his rehabilitation stint in the minor leagues.

He explained his new approach to Adam Berry of MLB.com

"Sometimes you forget how special this game is, especially playing at this level. You come through all the levels and you get reminded of that," said Zito. "This is a long way from low-A ball and rookie ball and things like that. It's a real blessing to do it up here," added the lefty.

Zito's increased appreciation for the game was on full display last Thursday, prior to the Giants 2-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins at AT&T Park. Take a look at a relaxed and jovial Zito, mixing it up with fans, while standing in the Giants home dugout.

San Francisco fans hope Zito's new level of happiness matches up with his level of production on the mound.
