Robin Ventura Signing Autograph
Earlier this month, the Chicago White Sox spent six consecutive days in Southern California, splitting time between a three-game set with the Dodgers and a three-game stanza, 31 miles to the south, with the Angels. During the LA portion of the trip, the club from the Southside of Chicago stayed at the JW Marriott Los Angeles LA LIVE, located in downtown LA, three miles south of Dodger Stadium.
Ironically, the Sox hotel and surrounding LA LIVE entertainment complex was a buzz, during the team's stay, due to Game 1 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final taking place directly across the street at Staples Center. The New York Rangers just so happened to be staying at the very same JW Marriott, as the White Sox.
