Despite all the talk, it is very possible Durant could end up back in OKC alongside superstar teammate Russell Westbrook, who posted 18 triple-doubles this season, tying Magic Johnson for the most over the past 30 years.
The Thunder have flown a little bit under the radar this year, lagging behind the record-setting Warriors and incredible Spurs, yet finishing third in the west with a strong 55-27 mark.
In OKC’s 108-70 win over the Mavericks, in Game 1 of their first round series, Durant tallied 23 points, 5 rebound and 5 assists, in just 27 minutes of action.
