Kevin Durant Lives In A Very Unique Oakland Hills Home (Photos)

Kevin Durant's Oakland Hills homeWithout question, the biggest story of the 2016 NBA offseason involved Kevin Durant’s downright shocking decision to join the Golden State Warriors, after nine spectacular seasons with the Oklahoma City Thunder/Seattle SuperSonics. Durant signed a two-year/$54 million deal with Golden State, with an opt-out clause after this season.

Whenever the 2014 NBA MVP chooses to once again become a free agent, the league’s new collective bargaining agreement will allow him to earn more than $200 million, depending on if he stays with the Warriors (which he almost certainly will) and when he elects to pursue a maximum deal that would not impact GSW’s ability to retain its core group of players.

Either way, life appears to be pretty good these days for a player that has already earned roughly $135 million, during his career, not including non NBA sources of income.

Upon his arrival in the Bay Area, the Washington, D.C. area native settled in a five-bedroom, five-bathroom ultra modern pad, in the Caballo Hills section of the Oakland Hills.

In addition to possessing a wide array of high tech amenities, the 6,000-square-foot hillside property features numerous floor to ceiling windows, allowing for picturesque views of Oakland, San Francisco Bay and the San Francisco skyline, throughout a bevy of vantage points around the home.

Below are a series of photos chronicling the 12-year-old, very uniquely designed abode.
