Zach LaVine With Fans On The Night His Season Ended (Photo)
Lance Martinez from My Detroit Sports provides this photo of Minnesota Timberwolves highflying guard Zach LaVine signing autographs, a short time before the two-time slam dunk champ’s season would come to an abrupt conclusion.
A mere couple hours after this shot was gathered, LaVine tore his left ACL, during a game against the Pistons, at The Palace of Auburn Hills. The UCLA alum underwent successful reconstructive surgery, February 14, in Los Angeles.
Prior to his season-ending injury, the continually improving LaVine was averaging 18.9 points, 3.4 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game. The Seattle area native had improved his points per contest average by nearly five points, as compared to last season.
Only in his third year, LaVine has quickly gained the reputation of acting very hospitable to his many fans.
