Zach Randolph Was All Business In LA (Video)
After posting a career scoring average of 17 points per game (with POR, LAC, NYK), while often receiving criticism for a lack of defensive prowess and an always questionable attitude, Randolph's Grizzlies tenure has involved excellent all-around play and a level of continual improvement from a team performance perspective.
Now in his fourth season in Memphis, Randolph has been one the focal points of a roster whose regular season record has improved each of the last three seasons. Two years ago, with Randolph averaging 20.1 points and 12.2 rebounds per game, the Grizzlies made the playoffs as an eighth seed, before knocking off the top seeded San Antonio Spurs, in one of the most shocking upsets in league history.
Last season, Randolph's numbers were down (due to a partial MCL tear), but he did return to participate in a fantastic and extremely physical, seven-game, opening round playoff loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Now healthy, Randolph is poised to return to his more recent form, while at the same point serving as one of the leaders of this suddenly relevant Memphis franchise.
Wednesday, a couple hours prior to the Grizzlies season opener versus those same Clippers, Randolph was spotted entering the team bus, outside of the JW Marriott Los Angeles LA Live, located a block north of Staples Center, in downtown LA.

In a 101-92 loss to LA, the Michigan State alum posted a very respectable tally of 15 points, with a very impressive 16 rebounds.
