So just when you least expect it the funk-master George Clinton shows that you don't funk with his music. Clinton has alleged that the Peas illegally sampled a song of his called "(NOT JUST) KNEE DEEP" for their song "Shut Up," and is taking him to court.

This is a true bummer, but me thinks I side with the master of funk...sorry Black Eyed Peas. Read the encounter stories of both George Clinton AND The Black Eyed Peas at iFollo! As long as George Clinton's attorney is as funky as him, no court of law could turn a blind eye on the shear funkiness of George Clinton.

Yesterday at 3:30pm, I got word on Facebook that Dave Matthews was going to be playing at the Microsoft Store opening in Bellevue, Washington.  Since I am a huge Dave Matthews fan, I couldn't pass this up.  When I got there at 4:00pm there were probably 50 people waiting to see Dave.  I mean I was three hours early, but I got to watch from the front row!  By the time the clock hit 7:00pm, there must have been 3,000+.  After the three hours of standing, Dave Matthews finally came on stage and this turned into the best day ever.  I recorded the entire show on my iPhone and met a bunch of new people who were also huge Dave fans.  Any Free Concert that Dave plays...I am there!

The Black Eyed Peas are a confusing band to me. Some of their stuff is wicked sweet, while other songs seem like they didn't even try at all! We shall see which category their new album will fall into, as they are set to drop a new album in November. The album is entitled "The E.N.D." This lucky little fan got the ultimate fan experience!

The Beastie Boys have always had a sense of humor. The name of their new album is called "The Hot Sauce Committee" and it has a part one and a part two. In true Beastie fashion, the group is releasing part 2 before part 1. Either way it is sure to be awesome! This lucky fan got pretty close to the Beasties!

Katy Perry's appearance was cut from a recent episode of Sesame Street. The powers that be said that her shirt was too low-cut. She poked fun at them by wearing an extremely tiny Elmo shirt during her SNL appearance.  It's okay though, the smokin' hot singer is set to be a guest star on The Simpsons. I'm sure even the Simpsonized version of Katy will be sexy. Here Katy takes some time to meet fans.

The man who's legend states that he may have put the final deadly blow into the chest of disco music turns 61 today. It'll be damn near impossible to find yourself a musician who not only relates to fans, but also puts them at the very top of why they make music...The Boss is both! Bruce Springsteen...iFollo wishes you a happy birthday sir..we are glad you were born in the U.S.A.! Here he takes time to meet a fan.

The official estate of Michael Jackson has licensed a virtual online world of Michael Jackson. In the world users will be able to collect and trade King of Pop merchandise. Sounds kinda weird to me..but I'm sure there are plenty of Michael fans that are thrilled! Here is a video of one lucky fan's encounter with the icon.

Everybody at one point or another has listened to the song "Free Bird" and had their mind blown ever so slightly from it's majesty. The boys who created that masterpiece went by Lynyrd Skynyrd. How did they get their name? Well it came from their gym teacher..a man named Leonard Skinner. The actual Skinner has passed on at the age of 77...but through Skynyrd's timeless rock, he will always live on! These fans got to meet the living members of Skynyrd!

Sure you knew Jack White  could rock it out with his various bands like The White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and more...but I bet you weren't aware that he is also an inventor. He has invented a new kind of record called a "Triple Decker Record"...proving why records will always be the coolest music medium. The new Dead Weather record is 2 in one, a 7 inch single housed inside of a 12 inch record. Here is a video of the forementioned awesomeness!
