Stephen Curry Charlotte childhood homeWithout question, the singular breakout performer of the NBA postseason has been Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. In his first “second season,” the 6-3 point man has tallied a phenomenal 26.5 PPG (3rd in postseason), 4.3 RPG, 8.9 APG (1st in postseason) and 2.0 SPG (5th in postseason).

Warriors 28-13 home record, Nuggets 19-22 road recordThursday night, the Golden State Warriors host the Denver Nuggets, in Game 6 of their Western Conference first round series. The Warriors 3-2 series lead is particularly surprising considering that back in Game 1, the team not only went down in defeat, but also lost All-Star big man David Lee for the remainder of the playoffs (torn hip flexor). After their Game 1 setback, the Warriors went on to win the next three games, before losing Game 5 in Denver.
