Adrian Peterson & His Chaotic Viking Life (Video)

Minnesota Vikings All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson is officially entering his ninth NFL season. Peterson has put together gaudy stats throughout his career, rushing for 10,190 yards (5 yards per carry) and scoring 91 total touchdowns.

As everyone knows by now, Peterson basically missed all of the 2014 season, after he was indicted on charges of reckless or negligent injury to his then 4-year-old son. He was initially put on the NFL's exempt list, before getting suspended for the final six games of the year.

During the offseason, Peterson stated that he did not want to return to the Vikings, with the fan base's feelings becoming mixed on the issue. Peterson changed his tune upon taking part in the Vikings May mini-camp, later restructuring his contract to include $20 million in guaranteed money and a $13 million paycheck for this season.

Tuesday, iFolloSports.com was at the Vikings training camp in Mankato, Minnesota and captured the above original video of Peterson entering practice. Peterson received lots of cheers on that day, as has been the case throughout camp. Amazingly, it almost seems like the 2014 nightmare never happened.

During Tuesday's practice, Peterson left the field early, with what was believed to be a minor thigh bruise.
