The Cowboys New Practice Facility Is Simply Incredible (Videos)
Prior to the start of the 2016 regular season, the Dallas Cowboys officially moved into The Star, the club’s brand new headquarters and practice facility in the northern Dallas suburb of Frisco, Texas. And when they say that everything is big in Texas, they absolutely mean it when referring to this unbelievable edifice.
When fully completed, the $1.5 billion complex will house not just the Cowboys and the exclusive Cowboys Club, but also a mega entertainment district (comprised of retail, restaurant, entertainment and corporate options) and a 300-room Omni Hotel.
In addition, the development features the 12,000-seat Ford Center, which serves as both the Cowboys’ indoor practice facility and a rotating home field for the Frisco Independent School District’s high school football squads.
Below is a video tour of The Star’s corporate, media and football areas, including the outdoor practice fields and Ford Center, as well as team meeting, locker, weight, training and dining spaces.
This video offers an overview of the public portion of the sprawling 91-acre development.
The Star sits 35 miles northeast of AT&T Stadium (located in Arlington), 19 miles northeast of Valley Ranch (former Irving practice venue) and 24 miles straight north of downtown Dallas.
