Kevin Dillman Ninth Grade QBQuarterback Kevin Dillman of La Mirada High School (CA) received scholarship offers from Louisville, Colorado, UCLA and California recently. Nothing unusual about that, except for the fact that Dillman is in ninth grade and has never started a high school game.

Last season, as a backup QB, Dillman completed 18 of 26 passes for 216 yards, while running for 103 yards on 16 carries.

Dillman had competed in the USA Football Under-15 International Development Week and coaches apparently saw his upside from the film. He cannot sign a national letter of intent with any university until February of 2015.

Snoop Dogg Ladies Arena Football LeagueThere have been dozens of stories about pro football returning to Los Angeles in the past 18 years, but this one may be actually heading somewhere. Leave it to Snoop Dogg to make it happen.

Snoop told Yahoo! Sports that later this year he is buying the franchise for LA’s inclusion in the new eight-team Ladies Arena Football League. He added that the new league will be similar to the Lingerie Football League and that his team would be called the LA Riders.

"A lot of beautiful girls playing football, that's the closest thing we've got.  Hopefully we can get a real NFL franchise to the city of LA because we deserve it," said Snoop.

PETA and Toronto Triumph join forcesWho knew that the women of the Lingerie Football League had anything in common with PETA?

Ladies who play for the LFL’s Toronto Triumph are showing their support by opposing animal cruelty and the use of animal fur.

Four members of the Triumph joined a demonstration in Toronto under signs that read "Bench Fur" and "Wearing fur is a personal foul." They also appeared in a video which urged shoppers to eliminate fur items from their holiday shopping lists.

Coming together, isn’t that the true spirit of the holiday season?
