Alexander Ovechkin Owns A Massive Northern Virginia Home (Photos)

Alexander Ovechkin McLean Virginia Home Last week, amid a career résumé that already included three MVP’s, seven goal-scoring titles and nine All-Star Games, Capitals icon Alexander Ovechkin finally added a Stanley Cup championship to his list of hall of fame career accomplishments. Without question, the 32-year-old Russian now solidifies himself as one of the greatest players in NHL history.

While Ovechkin has now successfully reached the pinnacle of his professional life, from a personal standpoint, he has been living large for the last several years.

Since 2012, Ovechkin has called an 11,000-square-foot Northern Virginia mansion home. Located in the ritzy city of McLean, the Ovechkin pad features 5 bedrooms, 7.5 bathrooms, a three-car garage, two-island modern kitchen, spiral staircase, library and massive backyard deck.

The 1.25-acre property sits 15 miles west of Capitol One Arena, 10 miles west of the Caps practice rink and three miles northwest of the Tysons Corner Center, the largest shopping mall in the Washington DC area.

Below and in the upper right is a photographical tour of the Ovechkin residence.
