Top 10 High School Hoops Star Rashad Vaughn In Action (Videos)
Tuesday, prep basketball star Rashad Vaughn, formerly of Robbindale Cooper High School, in the Twin Cities suburb of New Hope, Minnesota, announced that he is heading west to play his senior year at Findlay Prep, in Henderson, Nevada. Rivals.com ranks Vaughn as the nation's number seven basketball recruit, with some calling him the best shooting guard in the class of 2014.
Findlay Prep is a powerhouse basketball program that has produced many recent NBA players, including Anthony Bennett, the top pick in this year's NBA Draft.
Vaughn was one of the three highly sought-after prep basketball players in the Twin Cities class of 2014 (along with Tyus Jones and Reid Travis). Big time college coaches including Roy Williams, Tom Izzo, Mike Krzyzewski and Bill Self have all caught a glimpse of the above talent in person.
Below are videos of Vaughn from last season. This first one shows the 6-5 guard making free throws, grabbing a rebound and running the floor, during a midseason game.
This clip shows Vaughn warming up, prior to playing Tyus Jones at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
