WNBA Champ Signing In Her Home State (Video)

Lindsay Whalen is the point guard for the WNBA champion Minnesota Lynx. Whalen and the Lynx are coming off their second title in the last three years, after defeating the Atlanta Dream, earlier this month.

Whalen, a Minnesota native, played for the Minnesota Golden Gophers, leading them to the 2004 NCAA Women's Final Four. Whalen was then selected with the fourth overall pick, by the Connecticut Sun, in the 2004 draft. In 2010, the now 31-year-old was traded to her hometown Lynx. Along with her two WNBA championships, Whalen is also a four-time WNBA All-Star and three-time first team All-WNBA player.

As a result of the 2012 Olympic Gold Medalist's many accomplishments, Whalen currently stands as one of the most revered athletes in Minnesota. Saturday, the above iFolloSports.com original video shows Whalen signing autographs for a very large group of fans at Fan HQ Sports Apparel And Collectables, in the Twin Cities suburb of Minnetonka, Minnesota.

WNBA fans can also view original video of Whalen and her Lynx teammates, during the team's recent championship parade in downtown Minneapolis.
