Mike Tyson Meet and Greet With Fans

Above is an iFolloSports.com original video of legendary boxer Mike Tyson, provided by Michigan based correspondent Lance Martinez. The clip displays Tyson posing for photos and enthusiastically saying hello to fans at the National Sports Collectors Convention. The gathering took place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, located in the Chicago suburb of Rosemont, Illinois.

Tyson is one of the most famous fighters of the past 30 years. The Brooklyn native resoundingly won his first 37 professional bouts, before getting upset by James Buster Douglas in 1990.

In 1992, Tyson was found guilty of rape in Indiana. He was initially sentenced to 6 years in prison, but was released after 3 years.

After spending 4 years away from the ring, Tyson started to lose more fights upon his return to boxing, including two big ones versus Evander Holyfield. Tyson would eventually finish with a career record of 50-6, with 2 no contests.

Tyson remains infamous for his second fight with Holyfield, where he bit off a portion of the fighter's ear, during the 1997 fight. Crazy antics and incidents of rage would largely define the post Buster Douglas period of Tyson's career.

These days, the 49-year-old Tyson often signs at a variety of appearances, while also involving himself in many TV and acting gigs. These efforts have significantly improved Tyson's public image.
